The material is super soft and feels nice to the touch but the inside of it feels almost cool to the touch. This probably lends itself well to being good for spring days or cool summer nights, but it’s not as warm and cozy as I thought it’d be inside based on how other brands with similar materials feel inside.
I think the sizing is pretty accurate. I’m marking it as true to size as it is sold under the description of being a relaxed fit, and It’s definitely a relaxed fit. I think I might have been able to get away with the xxs and have it still be oversized. It’s a little bit stretchy and currently my go to pullover as I have frozen shoulder and it’s easier to get it on and off without pain than some of my other hoodies.
The colour is beautiful…the ripe plum is just so gorgeous. That said, the nature of the material makes the colour softer than the butterluxe fabric. This doesn’t bother me as it’s very tonal and looks great with the butterluxe leggings. I actually prefer tonal over monochromatic. I’d like to try more soft aura tops but the price difference between the pullover crew vs half or full zip don’t really make sense. I could see $5, maybe $10 difference, but not much more for a zipper and a little more fabric.
